Kids Shoe AR — let parents see the shoe on their child's foot before they order

Kids' shoes are often bought online by a parent, quickly, for a child who won't sit still in a shop. Wearfits AR puts a true-to-scale 3D shoe on the child's foot straight from the product page, so the parent can check colour, look and proportion before they add to cart, and the child gets a say too. One 3D asset per model, colour and material covers every size you stock.

Shoes and bags only. AR shows how the shoe looks on the foot and its true-to-scale proportion; it does not measure the child's foot or choose the size, which stays with your size chart and size guidance. A new colourway or upper material is a separate 3D asset; a new size of the same model reuses the existing one.

How Kids Shoe AR works

From your bestselling kids' models to try-on on every matching product page.

Pick the hero models

List the first shoes, school shoes, sneakers and boots you sell most, with colour and material for each.

Build the 3D shoes

We create a true-to-scale asset per model, colour and material, from product photos or samples. See Photo to 3D.

Attach to product pages

Link the asset to the product. On Shopify, install the Wearfits Try-On app and connect products from the dashboard.

Parents try it at home

The parent opens try-on on their phone from the product page and points it at the child's foot.

Where it helps a kids' shoe store

Typical moments where shoppers reach for AR try-on.

Colour and character picks

The child sees the exact colourway on their own foot and picks the one they'll actually wear.

Back-to-school rush

School shoes are bought in a short window. Seeing the shoe first helps parents decide faster. See Peak season AR.

Gifts from family

Grandparents and relatives get a try-on link with the gift idea. See Gift guide AR.

Size questions

Pair try-on with clear size guidance on the product page. See Size confidence.

In the shop

A QR code on the shelf opens the same try-on for colourways you don't have in stock. See QR try-on.

FAQ

Straight answers for kids' footwear retailers evaluating AR try-on.

Does Kids Shoe AR measure my child's foot or pick the size?

No. Wearfits AR shows how the shoe looks on the child's foot, its colour and its true-to-scale proportion. Size choice still comes from your size chart and size guidance on the product page. See Size confidence.

How many 3D assets do I need for a kids' shoe range?

One 3D asset per model, colour and material. Every size of that same model, colour and material reuses the asset. A new colourway or upper material needs its own asset.

Can we run Kids Shoe AR on Shopify?

Yes. Install the Wearfits Try-On Shopify app, connect products from the dashboard and place try-on on the product page. See Shopify get started.

Can a parent share the try-on with the other parent or grandparents?

Yes. The try-on opens from a link, so a parent can send it to whoever is buying, which also suits gift purchases. See Gift guide AR and Email AR.

What should we put in a kids' shoe pilot?

A small set of hero models is enough, for example 5 to 10 bestsellers across first shoes, school shoes, sneakers and boots, each with colour and material noted. Email contact@wearfits.com with your store URL and that list.

Run a kids' shoe store?

Email contact@wearfits.com with your store URL and the 5 to 10 models you'd want in a pilot (colour and material). We reply with a scoped plan and point you to pricing.
